THE KERRERA SAGA
The Kerrera Saga was devised by George Wyllie and Donny O'Rourke following a visit to the island of Kerrera in Oban Bay. It was performed at James Arnott Theatre, Glasgow University as part of the West End Festival. As with a Day Down a Goldmine and Voyage Round a Safety-Pin, this was a script written for two people to perform, and included George Wyllie's scul?tures in the set, as well as his ukulele music. George played the part of a Viking, with Donny O'Rourke as his Celtic slave.
